Our experienced team, including our science teacher, art teacher, and counselor, will guide you through hands-on activities that showcase the research-backed benefits of outdoor education, adaptable strategies for any setting, and creative ways to engage students in the natural world.

Workshop Details

The benefits of outdoor learning are well-documented, from increased engagement to improved social-emotional skills. But many teachers ask: “Can this apply to my subject?” At The Janus School, we believe the answer is a resounding yes!

Includes ACT 48 hours and lunch

This workshop includes outdoor activities, so be prepared for cold temperatures and possible precipitation. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for walking on uneven surfaces. The workshop will be held rain or shine unless road conditions become unsafe due to extreme weather. Any weather-related cancellations will be communicated promptly via email and text to all participants.
