The Janus School Summer Programs provide extended school year programming for students in Grades 1-12. The day is divided into an engaging Morning Academic Program and exciting Afternoon Enrichment Programs. You can choose either one for your child, or both!

Morning Academic Program
June 24 – July 26 | Grades 1-12 | Mon-Fri | 8:30AM*-11:45AM | $1,480
Students will engage in learning through multi-sensory and experiential activities as they receive specific instruction in Language Arts, Math, and STEAM.
Students are grouped according to age and ability, and multi-age group activities are also planned to promote mentorship and social learning opportunities whenever possible. One-to-one tutorials, diagnostic testing, and a final report are provided for all students who were not enrolled at Janus for the 2023-2024 academic year or for previous Summer Programs.
*Students may arrive as early as 8:00am.
Lunch Break & Afternoon Offerings
Lunch Break – 11:45am to 12:30pm
Students participating in both morning and afternoon programs can enjoy lunch with friends.
Afternoon Offerings – 12:30pm to 3:30pm
A variety of activities are available in the afternoon to enjoy time with friends and practice social thinking.
Outdoor Exploration
June 24 – July 26 | Grades 1-12 | Mon-Fri | 12:30-3:30PM | $1,125
This program will give students time in the woods, weekly excursions on Little Chiques Creek, and a chance to participate in collaborative games and create art in nature.
Countries and Cultures
June 24 – July 26 | Grades 1-8 | Mon-Fri | 12:30-3:30PM | $1,125
Each week, students will learn about a different continent and the countries, people, cultures, and languages there. Through an arts-based exploration of music, food, clothing, language, and other culture, students will “travel” and learn about the world.
Soliloquies & Monologues
June 25 – July 23 | Grades 1-8 Mondays | Grades 9-12 Tuesdays | 12:30-3:30PM | $225
This program is designed to give students the opportunity to increase skills in acting, such as character study, memorization and story telling. Theatre games and improvisational techniques will be incorporated to encourage collaboration and confidence. A workshop performance will be scheduled to showcase student progress. No experience necessary.
Dungeons & Dragons
June 27 – July 27 | Grades 1-5 Mon $225 | Grades 6-8 Tu & Th $445 | Grades 9-12 Wed & Fri $445 | 12:30-3:30PM
Students will have a chance to enjoy this popular role-playing game that inspires creativity, helps forge friendships, and fosters teamwork.
