student building project in summer school

A Janus education is an investment in a child’s lifelong success. Janus students receive a rigorous, quality education, and learn valuable techniques to ensure their continued academic success. But we teach more than academics. We make sure our students are prepared to succeed in all aspects of life – at home, with friends, and at work.

Tuition at Janus is reflective of the close one-to-one contact and individualized education each student receives. However, Janus does not charge the full cost of providing our type of specialized education and relies on the philanthropic support of our friends and family to help close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of our programs through our Annual Fund and special fundraising events.

Financial Aid

To help keep Janus affordable for all families, need-based financial aid is available to help parents pay tuition costs. Between one-third and one-half of our students receive financial aid from The Janus School. Eligibility is determined on a first-come, first-served basis. The Janus School works with the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) program through Independent School Management. Families must reapply each year.

To apply for financial aid, visit FAST’s website. FAST administers the application process and any financial documents required will be submitted directly to FAST. FAST offers 24/7 phone and e-mail support for any questions you may have about completing the financial aid application. The fee to apply for financial aid through FAST is $45.00. If you are unable to pay this fee by credit card, or have general questions about financial aid at The Janus School, please contact Michael Peterson, Director of Finance and Operations at 717-653-0025 x103 or mpeterson@thejanusschool.org.
